B. Data processing and purpose | Fundamentals and legitimate interests | Recipients

  1. Utilization of my website
    Each time when visiting my website information is automatically sent from your terminal device to the hosting server and stored in a so-called log file. Here it is dealt with the following information:
    • Browser type/browser version; operating system, name of your Internet provider
    • Website, application having referred you to us (inclusive request line and referrer)
    • IP address of your device
    • URL and name of site visited
    • Date and time of server request
    Processing this data is the technical basis for your connection to the website, proper representation of website on your device and evaluation of system security and stability.
  2. Contract initiation and contract management
    translations4you translates your documents. For carrying out the contract, I will process personal data which you submit to me for the purpose of translation. Here it is dealt with the following data:
    • Name, first name
    • Where applicable, company and department
    • Invoice and delivery address
    • E-mail address
    • If necessary phone number
    I process this data based on article 6 par. 1 lit. b of General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for fulfilment of an order.
  3. Data processing by and with cookies
    I do not use any cookies on my website.
  4. Web tracking
    I neither use web tracking nor web analysis tools.

C. Your rights

In case of respective statutory prerequisites, you are entitled to the following rights.

  1. Right to information
    Following article 15 General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you are entitled to particularly obtain information about for which purpose we process data, which categories of personal data are processed, who – if applicable- is the recipient of this data and how long we will save this data. Moreover, you shall be entitled to obtain information about whether your personal data has been transmitted to any third-party country and which suitable guarantees for transfer do exist.
  2. Right to correction
    You shall be entitled to demand from us to correct unimportant or incomplete data in our systems, art. 16 General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
  3. Right to delete
    This right pursuant to art. 17 General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)) assures you the possibility of having deleted data stored with us. We always comply with this demand and to the requested scope whenever no statutory retention periods are to be kept.
  4. Right to restriction
    You can demand from us to restrict processing your data if: correctness of data is contested by you; processing is illegal, but you deny its deletion; we do no longer require the data, but you are in need of it for enforcement, exercising or defence of legal claims or you have filed objection pursuant to article 21 General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) against processing.
  5. Right to data transferability
    Pursuant to article 20 General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you shall be entitled to have selected data and data stored in an established, machine-readable data format transferred or to demand transmission of this data in another machine-readable data format.
  6. Right of objection
    You shall have a general right of objection to data processing carried out by us based on article 6 par. 1 letter f) General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We shall be obliged to comply with your contradiction in case of your stating us reasons of overarching significance.
  7. Right to withdrawal
    At any time, you shall be entitled to withdraw from any approval given for processing your personal data with effect for the future.
